About Stairlift Price Watch
Stairlift Price Watch exists because we believe you deserve to know what a stairlift should cost before anyone knocks on your door.
Why We Built This
The UK stairlift industry has a transparency problem. Most companies refuse to publish prices online. The standard approach is "request a home visit" — which means hearing a price for the first time while sitting in your living room with a salesperson.
We think that's wrong. Whether you're buying for yourself or researching for a parent, you should be able to see what stairlifts actually cost, compare prices between brands, and understand what grants are available — all before committing to anything.
How We Research
Our pricing data comes from:
- Manufacturer pricing — where publicly available or obtainable through direct enquiry
- Independent industry sources — trade publications, consumer reviews, and comparison data
- Multiple verification — every price point is checked against at least 2 independent sources
- Quarterly updates — we re-verify all data at least every 3 months
Where we cannot verify a figure to our standard, we flag it as an estimate. We would rather be honest about uncertainty than publish a precise number that might be wrong.
